Yachting New Zealand Zone Development Clinics 

YNZ Zone Development Clinics are coaching clinics conducted around the nation. They are aimed at identifying and supporting young talent with potential, develping youth fleets and supporting regional coaches looking to develop. Please take a look at the guidelines which outline the zones, the application process for hosting a clinic and information for coaches.

• The clinics focus on, but are not necessarily limited to, youth aged sailors
• The clinics focus on sailors of recognised youth or core Olympic classes and some recognised junior classes
• Clinics are arranged by the YNZ Regional Support Officers and organised by a host Club or region in conjunction with YNZ. YNZ provides coaching. 

Under this programme Yachting New Zealand aims to provide ten man days of coaching support to each zone per annum. Yachting New Zealand aim to cover the travel and living costs of the nominated coach/es within reason as approved on a case by case basis and /or within the standard Yachting New Zealand travel rates.
