YNZ Commodores Conference 2009
Following the highly successful 2007 event, the Yachting New Zealand Commodores Conference is an opportunity to meet with other leaders of our sport, to plan, network, and develop ways that we can move ahead and improve.
All Commodores of all Yachting New Zealand affiliated clubs are invited and this free one-day event will be held on Saturday 29 August 2009 at the Waipuna Conference Centre in Mt Wellington, Auckland. It will again be facilitated by John Stuart of Teamworks Pacific, who is expert at getting groups to bring their ideas to the table and to form these into planning outlines.
In 2007 the theme was ‘getting better together – renewing our partnership’ and for 2009 we will build on and elaborate on the same ideas in a programme that will be developed over the following months.
Meals and refreshments for all attendees are provided, as is accommodation for those outside of Auckland. Travel subsidies are available for people flying or driving in from outside the Auckland Region.

We recommend that those booking air travel do so early to ensure the subsidy covers the full cost of their fare.
