The P Class Rule book can be downloaded form the Tauranga Yacht & Power Boat club’s website: www.yacht.org.nz  More information on the P Class is also available there. Here you will find information on the P Class, including past winners of the Tanner and Tauranga Cups and the Naomi James Trophy.  You can also find the history on the boat, and the contest trophies sailors can win at the above events.

P & Starling Venue

The Junior Classes Committee are seeking Letters of Intent from clubs interested in holding the P & Starling National Championships for 2011 and North Island Championships for 2009.

National Championships are to be held before the 31st of January in the above years (in recent history they have been held over or about the New Year Period) and North Islands are held over Labour weekend.

While it has been normal that when Nationals are hosted by a North Island Club that Club should also hold the North Islands, the Committee will consider requests from Clubs wishing to hold only Nationals or only North Islands.

According to established convention, preference for the 2011 Nationals will be for a Club situated South of Taupo to gain these Championships and because 2010 Nationals are in the South island we do need a club to host 2009 North islands.
